One Bike Changes What A Kid Believes Is Possible
Do you remember the feeling of getting your first bike? onbikes exists so that every child gets that feeling, regardless of socioeconomic status. Something as simple as a bike opens a new world — freedom, self-reliance, mobility, and a healthy love of the outdoors in a childhood spent increasingly on screens.
onbikes formed in 2011 when a group of friends in Tampa organized a community bike ride during the holidays so at-risk kids could receive their very first bike. It started as a fundraiser and became a catalyst for community connection and generosity.
Bike donation
Bikes go to children, teens and families in need through family service organizations and county and city partners.
Corporate bike builds

Mobile Bike Repair Shop

Community rides
Large-scale rides that fund the work, including the flagship Winter Wonder Ride.
…because every kid deserves a bike.
Based in Tampa, FL, onbikes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to provide bikes for at-risk children, including homeless and foster teens, and in doing so, restoring the self-confidence, health, and overall well-being of under-served kids in the Tampa Bay community.
